Firminio is an Italian brand born from a friendship between two women: Valentina Abbate and Valeria Fazio. Although coming from two different backgrounds (Valentina is a designer, while Valeria is an economist), they share not only the date of birth and a great passion for high Italian craftsmanship and fashion, but also the aim to enhance their homeland. They have pursued this project with stubbornness and ability: from 2016, starting from the lower Lazio, the brand Firminio has conquered new markets – both nationally and internationally – and took part in important trade fairs in Milan and Paris, offering a range of bags with female names to give to all women a wide possibility to play with fashion accessories following their own tastes and personality.
The name is inspired by the main character of a Sam Sage novel, a mouse that lives in a bookstore in Manhattan and thanks to the reading never ceases to dream. “This is what Firminio does: showing how different elements and qualities can be combined together in order to create something refined but out of box.”(Valentina Abbate). The stylistic code of our brand is the enhancement and care of local high craftsmanship; from the components choice, to the finishing touches, to the decorations: the laboratories we work with are located just a few kilometers from our headquarters, Alvito.
The research Firminio revolves around memory and innovation, beauty and desire to help every woman to play with fashion without following “directions” slavishly, but truthfully enhancing their style and personality.
